Management & Producing

Mafê Toledo is an arts manager with over 7 years of experience working with project management, evaluation, marketing, fundraising as well as day-to-day administration. Her main concerns are related to the sustainability of performing arts initiatives in line with the funding scenarios in which they are inserted. She aims to design, deliver and evaluate projects which significantly contribute to the field by offering networking opportunities to those who are actively responsible for its shaping and development.

Mafê is also a dance artist who develops a long-term passion for this artform by occasionally choreographing, performing or providing dramaturgic feedback during other artists’ creative process.
Through artistic activity, she seeks to expose the complexity in every common experience so that it resonates with those who make contact with her work. Drawing from somatic studies and improvisation techniques, her investigation relies on an embodied understanding of cognitive processes and the use of set as an integral part of the choreography.
